Through the 2023 Design and Wellness Fellowship (July 2023-February 2024) with Perkins Eastman, I evaluated the Reconnecting Communities Pilot program’s health, environment, and mobility impacts. The research used case studies from the FY22 grant awardees to evaluate how projects upheld or fell short of spatial equity best practices.

The fellowship included a firmwide presentation to Perkins Eastman staff, a presentation to the Executive Committee, and a discussion session with design professionals.
